A trio of distinguished-looking gentlemen leaned onto the bar at the Pop-Up Pub in Olive Hill Friday evening, sipping cold beer as members of Whistle & Fish whipped up the tempo on a toe-tapper.
“As far as I’m concerned it can’t get any better than this,” one said, earning nods of approval from the others.

Teams at Carter Nursing & Rehab on McDavid Avenue in Grayson welcomed dozens of families for their recent “Trunk Or Treat” event. Many of the residents also joined in on the fun, wearing costumes and handing out candy and other treats.

A near-capacity crowd gathered at Grayson Gallery & Art Center Friday for the city’s monthly F!nal Fr!day Artwalk for October, which included a Halloween costume contest and a performance by The Vindicated in addition to an outstanding exhibit of works by local and regional artists.
