4-H Members Busy with Summer Contests
The summertime is a busy time for 4-H members. 4-H Summer Camp, Kids Can Cook, 4-H Craft Day, Teen Conference and even a 4-H Aerospace Day Camp were all on the calendar for local 4-H members.

Louisville was a buzz for the Kentucky State Fair held August 15-25. Cloverville, the 4-H village-like area located in AgLand in the South Wing of the Kentucky Exposition Center, gave young people from all 120 counties an opportunity to showcase their best work to the entire state.

Space is limited for all programs so call the Extension Office at 474-6686 to register and request registration forms. All events will be at the Carter County Extension Office unless otherwise noted.

Chandler Easterling Earns 4-H Scholarship
Chandler Easterling, a 2019 West Carter High School graduate, was recently awarded with the $500 Kentucky 4-H Science, Engineering, & Technology scholarship.
95th Annual 4-H Teen Conference
Kentucky 4-H hosted the 95th Annual 4-H Teen Conference from June 10th -13th. This leadership opportunity offered senior level 4-H’ers the chance to continue to grow and better prepare themselves for college or the workforce.
