Cloverbud Explorer Day was my intern project for this year.
Fourteen Carter County youth from ages 5 to 8 came to participate in the day developed to provide campers with some insight to all the project and programs areas they can participate in while being in 4-H. Some of the program areas explored were sewing, aerospace, insects, cooking, crafting and gardening. They learned how to hand sew and machine sew and we planted watermelons and pumpkins. We also took an adventure “under the soil” to see what vegetables are grown in the ground. Our cloverbuds were assisted by volunteers and older 4-H members throughout the day.
