Families enjoyed another perfect evening and breathtaking sunset at the Carter County Fair Wednesday evening.

Due to the big North and South race at Florence, there were no other tracks really racing so our Carter County Boys were mostly all in the barn last weekend.

Kart racers got in a few “hot laps” as the last rays of Saturday’s sun set behind the ridge at Willard Kartway in rural Carter County.

PART ONE:
I got started racing when I was 11 years old. My grandfather Jeff Flaugher purchased a dirt racing go-kart and said, “Let’s see what you can do.”
