Mary Dean Bush Maggard, 79, of Wurtland went to be with her Lord Saturday April 10, 2021 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Mary was born December 17, 1941 in Ashland, KY a daughter of the late Alvin and Doris Stephens Bush.
In addition to her parents a brother, Harlan Bush; and two sisters, Jean Burnett and Phyllis Burnett, preceded Mary in death. Mary attended Salem Missionary Baptist Church; enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening and working in her flowerbeds. Mary’s love was spending time with her grandchildren and cheering them on at their sporting events. Mary was an avid UK Basketball fan.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Alfred Brian Maggard; a son, Kenneth Ray (Karen) Phillips of California; two daughters, Lisa (Mark) Cordle of Homestead, FL and Kelly (Brandon) McClelland of Flatwoods; three grandchildren, Dustin Baldridge, Caden McClelland and Cooper McClelland; two sisters, Janet Morris of Mansfield, OH and Barbara Tussey of Columbus, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family who all mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday April 16, 2021 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Phillip Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in the Floyd Family Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 am Friday until the service hour.
