Hoppy met countless people and became a friend to so many through his years in business. He loved buying, selling and trading antique cars and enjoyed attending car shows to swap stories with friends from far and wide. In retirement, he liked talking to people who stopped in to browse at Hop’s Stop and Shop. Hoppy took great pride in his yard, which kept him very busy along with taking care of his grieving, side kick Marley.
Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Jerry Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Jimmy Hall Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Friday.
