Shirley Kay Jackson Prichard, 71, of Olive Hill went to be with her Lord December 31, 2020 at the Kingsbrook Life Care Center in Ashland.
Shirley was born June 6, 1949 in Olive Hill, KY a daughter of the late, Woodrow and Lucy Jane Hutchinson Jackson. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded on death by five sisters, Wilma Brainard, Geneva Rister, Bonna Jean Sparks, Annabell Claxon and Juanita Harlow; and five brothers, Ellis Sparks, Odell Sparks, Gene Sparks, Glendal Ray Sparks and Freddie Sparks.
Shirley was a bookkeeper for W.T. Grant and Earl Johnson’s Car Lot. Shirley attended the Church of God of Prophesy.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Charles “Chuck” Prichard, Jr; a son, Brian Keith (Imelda) Prichard of Scott Depot, WV; a daughter, Sherri Ward of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Amber Thompson and Sarah Prichard; a great-grandson; a sister, Loretta Russell) Sherman of Hitchins; nieces, Abigayle Sherman and Diamond Sherman; nephews, Tony Sherman and Joseph Sherman; and many friends and extended family who all mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday January 6th 2021 at the Malone funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Delmar Rogers officiating. Entombment will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East. Visitation will be 11 am Wednesday until the service hour. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
