More than a half dozen poets competed in a “slam” style contest during July’s Second Saturday Music & Arts Shindig.
Host Jeremy D. Wells joined in this month’s competition, taking his turn in a rotation of poets. At the end of the third round of judging, Scot Hoeksema had the most points, with Bill Wolford in second place and Wandy Feld completing the champion’scircle.
