Grayson - Making a Merry Christmas on Main Street

Volunteers with the Grayson Creative Community Group worked together Saturday afternoon to sweep, scrub and decorate along Main Street in downtown Grayson in preparation for the upcoming Hometown Holidays celebration and the annual Christmas Parade, December 3 and 4, 2021.

State Senator Robin Webb (whose law office is located in downtown Grayson) joined downtown property owner Shadow Skaggs near the end of the day as they supervised artist Dan Click, assisted by his wife, Mindy, while painting Christmas scenes (along with fellow artist and downtown business owner Rhiannon Hope-Greer) on large windows along the parade route.
Students from Kentucky Christian University in Grayson also pitched into the team effort to tackle taskes including "sweeping, scrubbing and removing old bird nests."

Artist Dan Click had an in-person visit with the subject of a portrait on a window in downtown Grayson's Main Street.
