Graduation this spring was a little different than in years past.
Due to Covid last year, the class of 2020 graduation was not held. So this year, KCU held graduation for the class of 2020 and 2021.
There were two graduations, one at 10:00am and the other at 2:00pm. Each graduate could invite two people to be present at the commencement ceremony. (More family and friends were welcome to watch on screens in the chapel and on live-stream.) Covid guidelines were followed with proper spacing.
The ceremony included speakers Dr. Mitch Marshall, Dr. Terry Allcorn, Mr. Kevin Pickett, Mr. Chris Mitchell, Ms. Sharon Millard, Mrs. Jessica Duncan, Ms. Vicky Madden and Mr. Calvin Lindell.
The 10:00 am graduation included students receiving their Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing.
The 2:00pm ceremony included students receiving their Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor in Social Work, Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Religion.
