Phillip Brian “Pink” Lucas, 52, of Rush went to be with his Lord April 10, 2021 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Brian was born July 20, 1968 in Ashland, KY a son of Glen Roy “Red” and Patricia Sue Deerfield Lucas. Brian was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Henry Lucas; and maternal grandparents, Earthel and Pauline Coleman Deerfield.
Brian attended Faith Freewill Baptist Church in Rush. Brian worked as a Lineman with IBEW Local 876 and for the Operator Engineers Local 181. Brian had a strong work ethic and enjoyed tinkering on many projects.
Including his parents Brian is survived by a daughter, Krystle Nicole Lucas of Ashland; two sons, Austin Bryant Ferguson of Rush and Chaden Michael Lucas of Daytona Beach, FL; four grandchildren, Gavin Anthony Taylor, Gatlin Thomas Pinkerman, Gabrielle Margaret Taylor and Timothy Alex Ferguson; paternal grandmother, Georgia Mae Felty Lucas of Rush; two brothers, Anthony Glen (Donna) Lucas and Michael Dean Lucas both of Rush; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Mickey King and Bro. Joe Hutchinson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be 11 am Thursday until the service hour at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
