Opal Messer 92, of Grayson went to be with her Lord, Tuesday February 16, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
Opal was born January 3, 1929 in Carter City, a daughter of the late Morton and Pearle Justice Messer. She was a member of the Carter Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Carper and Erie Wilburn; one brother, Bruce Messer. Opal is survived by two sisters, Flora Jordan of Carter and Leatha Carper of Iron Hill; and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Lowell Messer, officiating. Burial will be in the Horsley Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.
