Tribute for Milford Silas Jackson Cotten - September 8, 1932 ~ February 16, 2021: Malone Funeral Home

Milford Silas Jackson Cotten, 88 of Grayson went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

Milford was born September 8, 1932 in Floyd County, KY, a son of the late Eales and Erie Adams Cotten. He was retired from construction, attended Kiser Branch Old Regular Baptist and was one of the original founders of Old Time Machinery and Antiques Association. He was known around the tristate area for his hand made car from wood, “High Cotten” which showed his excellence in working with wood.

Milford was preceded by the love of his life, Edna Alberta Steele Cotten in 2006; brothers, Billy Cotten and Frank Cotten; sisters, Tamery Cotten and Elizabeth Wilson. His survivors include, two sons, Jackie Cotten and Gary Cotten both of Grayson; two daughters, Ann Cotten and Milberta (David) Cotten both of Grayson; two sisters, Ellen Steele of Grayson and Marge Gose of Grove City, OH; three brothers John Cotten of Sebring FL, Larry Cotten of Russell,KY and Kenneth Cotten of Grayson; two grandchildren, Sommer Cotton and Bradley (Tyler) Cotton; two great-grandsons, Jackson and Harrison Cotten.


Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home with George Steele, minister. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
