Wayne Franklin McClave, age 73, of Grayson, Kentucky, went to be with his Lord at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky, on Monday, December 14, 2020 after a short illness.
Born February 25, 1947 in Grayson, Kentucky, firstborn son of the late Ralph T. McClave, Sr. and Merle McGuire McClave. In addition to his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his faithful Cocker Spaniel, Blackie, who he dearly loved.
Wayne leaves behind to mourn his passing his brothers, William T. McClave, of Georgetown and Ralph T. McClave, Jr. (Melissa) of Grayson; sisters Kay McClave Damron, Patty McClave Robinson (Barry) both of Grayson, and Ruth Ann McClave, of Ashland and many nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by niece Amanda McClave Preston; great niece, Julie Beth Robinson and sister-in-law
Wayne was a devout Christian and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, Grayson for many years.
Due to Covid 19 there will be no public visitation or funeral. Funeral will be live streamed for public at 6:00 pm Thursday evening with Grant Sammons, minister.
