Michael “Smitty” Douglas Smith, 57, of Grayson went to be with his Lord on Monday, October 12, 2020 at his residence.
Smitty was born September 1, 1963 a son of Verna Smith and the late John Douglas Smith. He was a self-employed roofing contractor.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lauren Nicole Smith and a son, Jon Zachary Smith. In addition to his mother he is survived by his fiancé, Jennifer Klein, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, 12:30 at the Smith-Claxon Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon.
