Laura Beth Carter Broughton, 40, passed away August 27, 2020. Laura was born April 20, 1980 in Ironton, OH a daughter of Samuel “Terry” (Charlotte) Carter and the late Susan Perry Carter.
In addition to her mother, Laura was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Sammie and Doy Terry Carter; and her maternal grandparents, Charles Perry and Ruth Vallance.
Laura was a graduate of Russell High School class of 1998. Laura will be remembered by her loving ways and her beautiful smile.
Including her father, Laura is survived by her companion, Scott Broughton; two daughters, Taylor (Aron Helton) Geary and Abagail Broughton; two sons, Gavin Broughton and Alex Broughton; two grandsons, Linden and Cooper; a sister, Teressa (Shawn) Frazier of Atlanta, GA; a brother, David (Melissa) Carter of Grayson; Taylor’s father, Jarrod Geary; two nephews, Eric Carter and Ryan Carter; a niece, Haliegh (Brandon) Messer; a aunt, Nancy Perry; and a host of friends and extended family who will sadly miss her.
A celebration of life service will be 1 pm Thursday October 8, 2020 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Joed Rice officiating. Visitation will be 11 am Thursday until the service hour. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.malonefuneralhome.com
