Veteran campfire chefs Jesse Oney and Stevie Clay tended their fires and coals for many hours in order to prepare hearty meals for “It’s Fall Y’all” visitors, Saturday, October 24, 2020.
The day’s menu included soup beans preparered “in my big pot,” Oney said, along with grilled cornbread fritters, peach cobbler, apple cobbler and pumpkin dump cake prepared in a selection of Dutch ovens set upon, and covered by, hot coals.
