The KCU Men’s Soccer team played an exciting game at home against Bryan Wednesday evening October 7, 2020.
The Bryan College Lions scored two points early in the game, and then KCU’s Isaiah Jones (Jr.) scored a goal for the Knights.
The two teams battled it out on the field after intermission. KCU’s Mike Dewald (Sr.) scored the second point of the game for the Knights. The two teams were then tied 2-2!
Tennessee’s Bryan College then scored a goal and KCU’s Ethan Combs (Soph.) scored another goal for the home team. Fans were going crazy cheering as the two teams were again tied 3-3!
The teams remained tied as the clock kept running. The crowd was thinking Overtime was possible! But then Bryan kicked in a goal with only a little over 2 minutes left and the Knights took a heart-breaking loss of 4-3.
The Men’s Soccer Team’s next home game is this Saturday Oct. 10, 2020 against St. Andrews University.
