Armed counter protesters again took stations along Main Street and in nearby parking lots, while apparently unarmed protesters (readers report eyewitness accounts of protesters practicing open carry, although that was not witnessed by Carter County Post) primarily remained at the picnic shelter on Park Street in Grayson during the latest in a series of demonstrations on behalf of the Black Lives Matter movement Sunday, August 9, 2020. BLM protesters were nonconfrontational and fired up two charcoal grills and invited counter protesters to share a meal and discuss their differences.
