Bradley Wayne Sparks, 36, of Ashland went to be with his Lord Saturday July 11, 2020 at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Brad was born November 22, 1983 in Ashland, KY a son of Diana Dickerson Sparks and the late Brady Franklin Sparks. In addition to his father, Brad was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Meghan Rae Sparks, a brother, Brady Scott Sparks; and a sister, Deborah Denise Sparks.
Brad was of the Baptist faith, giving his life to the Lord July 4, 2020. Brad enjoyed being outdoors working on four-wheelers and fishing. Brad was known as a jack-of-all trades.
Including his mother, Brad is survived by his loving children, Braxton (Jessi) Sparks, Payton Sparks both of Catlettsburg, KY, Caiden Sparks, Marissa Sparks, Bentley Sparks, Bryson Sparks all of Ashland, KY and Journey Sparks-Kronmueller of Morehead, KY; four sisters, Jammie (Eddie) Wright of Rush, KY, Angela (Greg Wall) Sparks of Ashland, KY, Tammra (Rick Bodmer) Sparks of Friendship, OH, Brandi (Travis) Layne of Olive Hill, KY; several nieces, nephews, friends and extended family who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Tuesday July 14, 2020 at the Malone Funeral Home with Kyle Burchett officiating. The funeral will be live streamed from Bradley’ tribute page on the funeral home website. Burial will follow in the Maddix Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 am Tuesday until the service hour.
