Carter County Youth Leadership spokesman McClain Dyer, accompanied by Michelle Wilhoit, asked members of the Carter County Fiscal Court for permission to once again use the old county jail as a “Haunted Jail” Halloween attraction this fall.
County commissioners approved the request, pending a safety inspection of the facility, which still contains many items from previous “Haunted Jail” events.
