Safety First: Haunted Jail Plans Receive Tentative Approval

Carter County Youth Leadership spokesman McClain Dyer, accompanied by Michelle Wilhoit, asked members of the Carter County Fiscal Court for permission to once again use the old county jail as a "Haunted Jail" Halloween attraction this fall.

County commissioners approved the request, pending a safety inspection of the facility, which still contains many items from previous "Haunted Jail" events.
