2019 Hometown Holidays Christmas Parade Warms Hearts with Christmas Cheer (11 photos)

Grayson Hometown Holidays Annual Christmas Parade was held at 6:30 pm Saturday on December 7, 2019.

The crowd turn-out was great even though the temperature was in the low thirties.  The bright cheery Christmas lights decorated a variety of vehicles and floats.

Neighboring communities (including Webbville, Olive Hill, etc…) drove their decked out firetrucks down Main Street with their emergency lights flashing, with friendly  firemen and children waving to the crowd.  Santa even hitched a ride standing on top of one of the trucks!

Plenty of candy was tossed to the kids and the East Carter Band performed Christmas carols.

A group of children dressed as elves walked the route, followed by a variety of other floats and cars.

Thanks to the Grayson Chamber of Commerce for all of their hard work and all of the wonderful people who were involved in the parade event!
