Grayson Fire Department members were seen working into the night Wednesday as they installed lights around headquarters in preparation for this year’s high-tech Halloween display, and later the more elaborate Christmas light show.
“Believe it or not, the hardest part is getting them all lined up perfect,” said Assistant Fire Chief Kyle Morgan, who explained any variation in the light placement becomes glaringly obvious once the lights begin to work in sequence.
This year’s lights will be tested for the first time this season after dark Saturday.
