Musicians have been gathering in the Hitchins community of Carter County for untold years, with many confident the tradition of getting together to play and sing on a Saturday night has been upheld for decades.
Once held at "The Hitchins Post," the jams are now conducted in the basement of Hitchins Food Mart, behind the red door on the Rt. 773 side of the store.
