Working next the The Drive-In food truck Tuesday, Crystal Rose and family paused for a portrait while selling fresh produce from the gardens of her dad, Jamie Rose, near the Carter/Elliott County border.
The family sells at the same spot in the old Ralph’s plaza which is also home to James Family Outfitters and the recently-opened Veterans Bingo, every Tuesday and Friday, starting at 6:30 a.m., weather permitting.
They hope to have a limited selection of an especially sweet type of corn this Friday, Rose noted. Tomatoes and onions from the family farm stand was used by the nearby food truck from The Drive-In.
