Clifton Ray Stone, 78, of Grayson passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at his residence. He was born February 7, 1941 in Carter County, Kentucky; a son of the late William and Hattie Tackett Stone.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, William Ray Stone; a brother, Theodore Stone; three sisters, Lillian Wagoner, Betty Carroll, and Lorraine Benson.

Mr. Stone worked as a laborer and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by four nieces, Anita Clark, Kathy Smedley, Brenda Carroll, and Barbara Lincoln; and a nephew, Kenneth Wagoner.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 12:00 (noon) at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Rex Seagraves, minister. Burial will follow at the Smedley-Wagoner Cemetery in Solider, Kentucky.
Visitation will be Monday, July 8, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Sparks Funeral Home.
