"Gnome For The Holidays" - Grand Opening/Open House Ongoing at Perfectly Mismatched

The spirit of Christmas is everywhere you look inside the “Perfectly Mismatched” shop, which is celebrating it’s new location at 201 North Carol Malone Boulevard, Grayson with an Grand Opening/Open House continuing through Saturday, November 7, 2020.

“Gnome For The Holidays” is the official theme for the weekend celebration.

“We’ve had a lot of people through today,” said Louanne Prater, who owns and operates Perfectly Mismatched along with her sister-in-law Danita Prater, during the first day in business at the new shop Friday.

Perfectly Mismatched’s early customers showed a definite interest in Christmas decorations such as wreaths, as well as ornaments and Macrame by Kelsie, Prater reported, adding Bohemian style decor items and “a lot of fresh flowers.”

The fresh flowers have included many arrangements designed for upcoming wedding ceremonies, the Perfectly Mismatched staff members said. The shop has four employees, including the sister-in-law owners, along with “a lot of volunteer help” from friends and family members.

The Grand Opening/Open House kicked off with hourly giveaways and door prizes, and offers customers a 25-percent discount on all items except Annie Sloan paints. Perfectly Mismatched is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
