Kevin Thomas Johnson is the son of Kevin and Angela Fannin Johnson of Rush. He is the grandson of Sherry Brown and of the late Ercil Johnson of Hitchins and Thomas and Betty Fannin of Rush. He has two sisters: Kayla Johnson Evans of Rush and Shawnna Johnson Laney of Sandy Hook.
Micah Grant Adams is a 2020 East Carter High School Senior. He is the son of Russell (Dina) Adams and Stephanie (Donald) Gifford of Grayson, Grandson of George and Eloise Adams and Michael and Eileen Roberts, both of Grayson and the Great-Grandson of Lorraine Sparks of Webbville, Ky.
Hannah Mae Ison is the daughter of Steve and Lori Ison. She is the granddaughter of Gordon and Brenda Womack and Dan and Betty Ison. Hannah has been a varsity cheerleader for four years.
Lesley Grace “Graycee“ Castle is a 2020 East Carter High School Senior. She is the daughter of Rob and TaLisa Castle of Grayson, Granddaughter of Gary and Phyllis Sparks of Olive Hill and the Great-Granddaughter of the late George and Lorraine Sparks of Webbville.
Matthew Waite is a graduating senior of the class of 2020 from East Carter High School. He spent many of his high school days on the football field as a four-year varsity starter for the team.

Local men and women who served in the nation’s military were honored and recognized Monday morning with a breakfast followed by a formal ceremony in the East Carter High School gym.
Carter County’s military veterans began enjoying a hearty breakfast at 8 a.m. Friday, served by members of the Family Career & Community Leaders of America, at East Carter High School. A Veterans Day ceremony honoring those who served in each of the nation’s five military branches is set to begin at 10 a.m. today, November 11, 2019.
