HAPPY NEW YEAR!On behalf of the Grayson Gallery & Art Center, Inc., we hope this note finds you safe and healthy!
As we prepare for the coming year and continue to work around the health issues and rules for gathering, the GGAC will present another virtual exhibit via photos of your original artwork for the January 29th F!nal Fr!days’ “opening” @ 6:00 pm.
In addition to our latest way of doing things, we’d like to have more participation from all artists who submit work! I will be adding each of you who use social media as a “Contributor” to the Photo Album via Facebook so you’ll have MORE input. The pricing of your work – and renewed efforts to get your art “out there” – will be a major focus in our marketing plan for the coming year and in future! Remember, the GGAC’s shows are open to ALL artists, everywhere, so please feel free to share this email and Facebook posts.
I’ve attached our Artist Registration form; we’d like to have a completed copy including important details like contact info, a link to your website (or other art-sales outlet, if any), and an artist statement or bio (if at all possible – please, tell us about yourself).
I’ll keep you advised as we go along if needed! You’re invited to submit up to 3 (three) pieces for the exhibit. Take a look back over the past year, especially since the COVID crisis escalated…what have you CREATED? Something new or a re-created former piece? Or, do you have older work that represents how this has affected you as an artist? Otherwise, as always we will share any subject , any medium and any price (or marked “not for sale”).
