Founders of the EKY Mutual Aid group joined forces with the Grayson Gallery & Art Center Saturday, November 7, 2020 to give warm winter clothes including coats, hats, gloves and fleece blankets – free of any questions or paperwork.
“Everything is free today! If you need it, you take it,” founder Bonita Skaggs told one of the day’s first visitors.
Organizers arrived with 47 heavy coats, more than 100 light jackets and hoodies, 50 new fleece blankets, and an abundance of hats, scarves and gloves.
The clothing giveaway continues until 1 p.m.
