In addition to her father, Dedera was preceded in death by a sister, Yolanda Weese. Dedera was a graduate of East Carter High School. Dedera went on to work as a clerk for several local doctors. Including her mother, Dedera is survived by three sons, Keenan Blake (Makayla Lin) Weese of Grayson, Jaden Bryce (Trinity Nicole Caudill) Verdun of Barboursville, WV and Nolan Isaiah Marcum of Grayson, a daughter, Karyssa Mae Marcum of Grayson; two grandchildren, Bryson Scott Verdun and Adaline LaRae Weese; a brother, Jesse (DeLisa) Weese of Elkview, WV; two sisters, Kimberlyn Hobby of Grayson and Jamie Weese in NC; her ex-husband, Phillip Luther Marcum; and a host of friends and extended family who all mourn her passing.
A celebration of life service will be 1 pm Saturday August 22, 2020 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Delmar Rogers officiating. Visitation will be 11 am Saturday until the service hour at the funeral home.
