Tribute for Chris Horton October 15, 1960 ~ August 12, 2020: Malone Funeral Home

Chris Horton, 59, of Grayson, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Chris was born October 15, 1960 in Grayson, a son of the late Elijah Joe and Monnie Carolyn Halterman Horton. He was retired from Ashland Fabricating as a painter. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Tavis and Della Dinkens Horton and maternal grandparents, Ralph and Amanda Griffith Halterman. He is survived by three sons; Rick Horton of Lexington, Michael (Jessica) Horton of Hitchins and Travis Horton of Grayson; one daughter, Nikki (Eric) Horton McDavid; one sister, Connie Knipp of Grayson; four grandchildren, Stephen Michael Horton, Johnathan Lee Horton, Violet Catherine McDavid and Elijah “Eli” Matthew McDavid.

Celebration of life service will be conducted Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Derl Everman, minister. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home.
