Organizer Dee Garrett and others will again gather at Grayson’s main intersection for a peaceful protest in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Garrett who is a student athlete at Kentucky Christian University said the protest will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2020 in the empty lot by Commercial Bank of Grayson at the corner of Main Street and Carol Malone Boulevard.
Prior to the second peaceful protest in the same location a few weeks ago, Garrett said he genuinely wants people who disagree with the protest and the “Black Lives Matter” campaign to stop and talk without fear of violence.
“If I don’t show love to them, then how will they know the truth?” he asked. “Stuff should never go that route. I do not believe in violence.”
“Anyone who causes problems is going to leave,” Garrett added.
