The U. S. Constitution requires a Census count of all people living in the US every 10 years.
Our representation in Washington, and Frankfort as well as how billions of dollars are allocated to state and local governments.
Carter County has traditionally lagged in this count and this year we trail the rest of the state in participation.
This costs our two cities and our county about $2000 in funding per person who are not counted!
