FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (April 10, 2020) – Kentucky Department of Highways crews and contractors will begin repairs to a slide area along US 60 in Boyd County near Summitt next week.Beginning Monday, April 13, work will take place beside eastbound US 60 (toward Ashland) just before Boy Scout Road where contractors will remove debris and stabilize a slide area on the hillside between Summit Plaza and Garden Roller Rink.
The right lane of US 60 will be closed during the work. Motorists should watch for merging traffic and expect delays. Work should take approximately two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
