Running from the front door to customers waiting in cars parked on Railroad Street in downtown Olive Hill, the staff at Walker's Family Restaurant had lots of orders to fill and deliver curbside Friday (March 25, 2020).
Owner Karl Bustetter estimated business has stayed at around 60 percent in recent days, and confirmed he has been able to remain at full staff, a dozen employees plus himself, for now.
"Olive Hill's restaurants have the best customers in the world," Bustetter said.
Walker's Family Restaurant has adjusted to the current conditions by opening a little later in the morning, after traditional breakfast time.
"I guess it's kind of hard to eat bacon and eggs in the car," he said with a chuckle.
