Guests, family, friends and members of the Olive Hill Chamber of Commerce stepped into a chilly breeze Saturday (March 14, 2020) morning for a ribbon cutting at the new shop cooperatively owned by Lucid Vapor & The Eastern Kentucky Hemp Company.
Located at 155 Scott Street, the shop is owned by Frances Messer of Lucid Vapor, which also has a shop at 206 Robert & Mary Drive in Grayson, along with William Sutterfield, owner of The Eastern Kentucky Hemp, which has a primary location at 123 East Main Street in Grayson.
Satterfield said the shop in Olive Hill aims to provide area residents with alternatives to smoking, as well as meet all CBD product needs.
Lucid Vapor & The Eastern Kentucky Hemp Company is open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
“Olive Hill was fortunate enough to receive the business when they decided to expand,” said Olive Hill Chamber of Commerce President Lisa Conley said after the group cut the ribbon and enjoyed refreshments and conversation, including a discussion about individual difficulties with smoking cessation.
