Commercial Bank Lobbies Closed (six photos)

Commercial Bank of Grayson employees ended their day with a conference call Monday (March 16, 2020) as part of the bank's plan to close all lobbies and offices Tuesday.

"Starting Tuesday we will do everything at our drive through at the Interchange Branch and in Olive Hill," Commercial Bank President Mark Strother told the Carter County Post Monday as staff made plans to close the doors at every location prior to their internal conference call.

"The lobbies will all be closed and we ask loan customers and new accounts to call us for arrangements," Strother said, adding "They can call us at (606) 474-7811."

 Strother said the Commercial Bank of Grayson officials and staff will re-evaluate the situation in two weeks.

"During that time we encourage people to take advantage of the ease of using online and mobile apps - and we'll keep the ATMs stocked," Strother noted.
