Beginning Wednesday, March 18, Ashland Community and Technical College is cancelling all in-person classes and instruction through March 27. This includes all in-person technical courses and labs that were scheduled to resume on Wednesday.
“The health and well-being of our students, faculty and staff is of paramount importance,” said Dr. Larry Ferguson, ACTC president and CEO.
During this time, in-person lecture classes, nursing labs and surgical tech labs will go online where possible. Students are encouraged to check their KCTCS student email and Blackboard for course updates from instructors. Student services be offered virtually during this time period.
All ACTC campuses will be open only to employees effective 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18. ACTC employees should plan to report to their normal office and locations as usual to make final preparations for work-from-home options where possible.
All college-sponsored events are cancelled through March 27 and college-sponsored student travel and employee travel is suspended until further notice.
