Members of the Grayson Area Chamber of Commerce joined guests of the Ashland Alliance and Ashland Community & Technical College last week for a Business After Hours event at ACTC’s Technology Drive Campus.
ACTC staff provided not only a noteworthy array of refreshments for the early-evening crowd from across the area, but also presented up-close looks at classrooms and equipment actively used to train today’s local workforce at the school, which is located near the borders of Carter, Boyd and Greenup counties, and adjacent to the proposed Braidy aluminum plant.
Grayson Area Chamber of Commerce officers Will Wilhoit, Dan Click and Mindy Woods-Click, along with Carter County Post Community Journalist Tim Preston, were among the evening’s guests.
