Aaron Kitchen's "The Rocker Life" Podcast Climbing The Charts

Musician Aaron Kitchen of Carter County has launched a new music interview podcast called The Rocker Life. The show has quickly shot up to #29 on the Apple Podcast Music Interview Chart while already offering some of the music industry’s biggest names as guests.

The Rocker Life launched on November 11th and can be found on all major streaming services, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Play, Stitcher, TuneIn, and many others. It is expected to be available on iHeart Radio in early 2020. Fans can also listen to the weekly podcast on its official website at www.TheRockerLife.com.

“I’ve had my eye on this area of podcasting for a long time, but I want to move past the traditional question-and-answer format,” Aaron explains. “That’s why I created the show that I’m ready to listen to. It’s time to get past simply promoting an album or tour. I want to hear and talk about the unbelievable stories of the artists and the people behind launching the albums and tours.”

Aaron is quick to point out that the podcast isn’t only for those interested in the music business but music and life in general. One example he provided came from his recent interview with legendary album cover artist, Ken Kelly (KISS, Manowar.)

“It is really about that area where music and life intersect with each other,” says Aaron. “When Ken was on, we talked about when he got out of the Marines and eventually found himself unemployed with a family and how he handled that while trying to become a freelance artist. He went from dealing with all of that to taking on some of the biggest art projects in music with the covers of Destroyer and Love Gun for KISS.”

Since launch, The Rocker Life has welcomed several important guests, including Justin Smolian of Dirty Honey (the first band in 40 years to reach #1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs Chart without being signed to a record label,) Greg Renoff (author of Van Halen Rising,) Rudy Sarzo (bass player for Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot,) Bruce Kulick (KISS, Grand Funk Railroad) and Michael Sweet (Boston, Stryper.)
