Employees, guests and potential employees were welcomed to Grayson’s Smithfield Foods facility Saturday for NASCAR Day, which included an opportunity for an up-close visit with the Stewart-Haas Racing NASCAR#10 Ford Mustang.
With free hot dogs as well as cotton candy, hot cocoa and fresh popcorn, visitors also had a chance to test their driving skills behind the wheel of a NASCAR driving simulator.
“We are taking applications today. We need production and maintenance workers,” Plant Manager Jeff Salyer said.
“And we have excellent benefits,” added HR Manager Sheri Wallace.
