Justice and Hope: National Day of Remembrance (10 photos)

Victims of horrific crimes gathered Saturday in Carter County for as part of the National Day of Remembrance.

State Senator Robin Webb said, “There is support, sharing and healing in love for the families of victims and survivors. There is always hope for understanding and forgiveness. Ann Bauers does a wonderful job in providing help to people.”

Will Wilhoit said, “My family feels so blessed to live in this community, and we always want to pour out those blessings back to our neighbors who need to feel the love that we share. My heart goes out to these families, and I pray they were comforted by the service.”

“National Justice and Hope for Crime Victims would like to thank the fabulous and wonderful singers that did our standing job, Shelby Lore, Attorney Will Wilhoit, Judge Rupert Wilhoit and Tim Preston was a great hit on the harmonica, wow !! All those who donated, All that Blooms for all the balloons and candles, Ralphs Food fair, Pure Country Chevrolet, Grayson Truck Accessories, Horton and Brown, Homespun Sisters. A special thanks to Suzie Harris and her friend Missy for donating food and their serving ( great food). A special thanks to Bobby Harris for helping put the signs out. We also want to Thank Kentucky State Police and Commonwealth Attorney Brandon Ison and Commonwealth Attorney Derrick Willis, and All American Graphics for being a part of our organization,” Ann Bauers said.
