Who are these brave young men in their turnout gear, ready to respond to any fire or emergency?
Jasper McHenry, left, and Kason Smith donned their downsized firefighting gear Saturday evening at the Grayson Fire Department.
Kason is the son of Brittany Marcum and Andrew Smith, and Jasper is the son of Travis and Christy McHenry.
“They have both been raised at the fire department as they have been there since both were newborn,” said Assistant Fire Chief Kyle Morgan. “Now, the awesome part of it is they have around 30 other ‘dads’ that watch over them like their own from the other members.”
