On Friday, August 3rd 2019, East Carter High School’s football team held it’s annual media day. Head coach, Tim Champlin, shared his thoughts on the upcoming season:
“I think this is an exciting time for East Carter Football coming off one of the best seasons in a long time, and having so many guys back that have experience. I feel that East Carter football proved a lot last year and this team is eager to pick up where they left off.” Champlin went on to say, “I think the program as a whole is improving each year. We talk about leaving it better than you found it, and each year we have gotten better. I think we will continue to improve this year.”
