Lori Lewis, owner of Grayson’s Divas and Dudes, formerly Divas, has moved to a new location in Grayson. “I never expected to be the last one there,” Lewis said of her original location in the K Mart Plaza, noting she and her team opened the salon there just more than two years ago.
Now open at 601 North Carol Malone Boulevard next to Med Save Pharmacy and across from Advance Auto Parts, Lewis smiles as she explains they have a new challenge. “Nobody can find us! One guy called four times the other day,” she said, acknowledging the new shop has considerably more traffic passing by.
The space is much smaller, although Lewis said her team managed to find ways to remain intact with all services previously provided by the staff of six full-time and two part-time stylists.

With the new name, Lewis said the sports-themed Divas and Dudes also has a goal to serve an expanded client base with affordable services. “We are trying to focus on getting more families to come – mom, dad and the kids,” Lewis said, noting her staff have different specialties to meet customer needs. “We want to create a family atmosphere.”
Divas and Dudes is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. unti 5 p.m. Saturday. Walk-ins are welcome and appointments are appreciated. For more information, call (606) 475-0054.
